A printable checklist for getting a store ready and handing over the daily routine.

Before you share your store

  • The owner can sign in, and the correct branch is selected.
  • Store name, contact, logo, cover, zone and map pin are correct.
  • The store has the required approval and an active suitable subscription.
  • Opening hours are saved for every working day, including any midday breaks.
  • Delivery charges and minimum basket are deliberate and checked from a customer address.
  • Products have real images, selling units, prices, stock and manufacturer barcodes where available.
  • Pharmacy prescription-required settings are correct and someone understands the review process.
  • Your store has added at least one delivery person, helped them sign in and confirmed they are available and trained. Add more riders as needed for order volume and cover; rider accounts are unlimited.
  • Responsible staff have their own accounts and the right roles.
  • Notifications work on the devices the team will use.
  • Wallet methods and finance permissions are checked by the owner.

Use this checklist without doing everything at once

  1. Complete registration and confirm the store’s access and subscription.
  2. Work through store configuration and your first products.
  3. Add the employee who will watch orders and the rider who will deliver them.
  4. Check the items above with those people, then rehearse the handover below.
  5. Once the customer view is correct and the team is ready, share the store with a manageable group of existing customers.
  6. Follow up on the first completed orders before promoting more widely. Resolve unclear pack sizes, delays or payment questions while they are still easy to trace.

You can add more products and marketing tools as the team becomes comfortable. Being ready to serve the first order reliably is more useful than opening every feature at once.

Rehearse the handover

Walk through an order with the team: review, customer clarification, confirmation, preparation, assignment, pickup, payment check and completion. Explain the delivery code if enabled. Use an agreed test arrangement and avoid creating a real paid order accidentally just to explore the screens.

At the start of each shift

Check the store is available as intended, the internet works, riders are reachable and someone is watching Orders. Review future scheduled orders. Update stock for items sold at the counter.

At the end of each shift

Review uncompleted orders, reconcile rider cash and mobile-money collections, check any missing payment or withdrawal, and hand unresolved issues to the next responsible person using order numbers.

Share one clear invitation

Send customers your actual store link with a reason to visit: the available range, a new arrival or a coupon with its conditions. Keep answering customer questions through the channels they trust while pointing them to a catalogue they can order from.
